Engravings of a Well-Understood Solitude

Just as solitude leaves its mark on the skin of those who experience it, Oriol Tuca etches its traces onto paper. He does so through dreamlike beings—figures of imagination, nature, or civilization—each bearing their own solitude, whether chosen or imposed. It makes no difference.
In the dense darkness of his incisions, these figures become a mirror, reflecting the intimacy of our silences.
